Every book you will read has some sort of conflict, unless it would be a very boring story line. Especially in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Juliet's family, the Capulets, and Romeo's family, the Montagues, are in a big family feud. It has been so long since this feud started, no one knows what it is about anymore. But, the anger between the families is highered even more when Lord Capulet and Lord Mantague hear that their children are in love. Romeo and Juliet don't have anything to do with this fight, so they keep on loving each other even though their families will forever resent them for it. They are in a much bigger, adversary then they were before.
The reactions that Romeo had was much different than Juliet's reaction was. Romeo was just as shocked as Juliet, but they showed it in different ways. Romeo was too shocked to say anything to Juliet about who he was. Juliet however was so shocked she asked Nurse who it was she had kissed. My reaction would be to very upset and demand that he come back at once. Then I would ask how he came to be aware of this private party. Then my father would eventually show up and declare that he lave at once and that he is forbbiden to see me again, but we meet in secret. Lord Capulet would , make this situation in a disparagement way. If you make something disparagment is like making it worse than it already is. The fact that Romeo is a Montague, makes the moment pernicious. Doing this causes everyone at the party, harm. Although the people at the party are in an awkward situation, Romeo and Juliet have never been happier. This one mistake propagated the whole situation of all the people who attended the feast.
